Site Manager/Foreman – Highways
Salary: £300 – 400 pd
Location: South East

We are looking to recruit freelance site based Engineers or Site Managers/Foreman to work on a highways project on high speed roads.
Working on night shifts, you will be required to supervise the strip out and new construction of a Vehicle restraint system.
Works are likely to be carried out by a sub-contractor but there is still the potential of this contractor self-delivering the package of works.
Duties will include:
- Start of shift briefings
- Ensuring works are carried out in accordance to the design and specification
- End of shift reports and dairies
- Health and safety
- Record keeping
- Management of programme and technical input
You are required to have previous experience of working on highways projects in a high speed road works environment and may come from an engineering background or be an experienced foreman/supervisor who has experience and understanding of technical drawings and can assist with problem solving.
A good communicator is important for liaising with clients, traffic management contractors, and various stakeholders, as well as reporting to senior managers.
Qualifications: Candidates are required to hold CSCS (preferably a gold card), SMSTS or SSSTS, and First Aid.
