Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work for a main contractor on a £150m rail project based in Central London. The current project has 18 months remaining but the contractor has a £1bn order book within the rail and highways sector.
Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 DOE (Plus Package)
Location: London
Essential Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
- Previous main contractor experience – ideally in Rail
- Strong setting out experience
- Personal Track Safety Card
As part of the Engineering team, the Site Engineer will support the Agent and Project Manager and contribute to the delivery of one or more sites within the Rail scheme. As the works are entirely within Network Rail Infrastructure, you should have appropriate rail knowledge, experience and competency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribution to the safety/environmental/sustainability standards of the works on the relevant sites.
- Supervising Junior Engineers and Setting Out
- Management of the Quality and Assurance aspects of the works
- Implementation of the project programme and possession plan
- Supervision and management of staff, operatives and plant (including Subcontractors)
- Engineering management of the works
- Excellent Setting Out proficiency
