Site Agent – Water **Contract Role** Home » Civil » Site Agent – Water **Contract Role**Salary: c£380 Per dayLocation: WatfordRegions: Hertfordshire, London, Middlesex, South East, Southern England, Surrey A Main civil engineering Water utilities contractor is looking for an experience Agent / Site Manager to work and manage projects within its Thames Water Framework.The purpose of this role is to manage and control construction activities and progress and change associated on site, reporting into a Contracts ManagerRole SummarySite Agent supports the Contracts Manager in delivery of projects for our Southern Water framework, to deliver successful, safely executed, high quality projects in Sussex.Ensuring all CPP, RAMS, and Point of Work Risk Assessments (POWRAs) are fully understood and implementedEnsuring work is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and the contractUnderstand the budget allowances and monitor and report on contract activities against agreed budgets and programmeEnsuring that changes are identified, agreed and effectively managedLiaison with project manager, site staff and quantity surveyor to ensure contract objectives are being metManaging subcontractors and suppliers; plant and materials requisitions; ensuring safe practices are implemented at all stages.Inputting to the project programme, in accordance with the clients\’ expectations and the requirements of CDM i.e. allowing sufficient time to safely plan and deliver works.Sharing information with the wider team to support work planning and obtaining and working in accordance with licences and permits as required to deliver the project.Documenting and reporting progress on site and completing site records.Reviewing customer impacts on site and escalating any issues to the Project Manager or CBUL Customer Stakeholder Manager.Engaging effectively and positively with customers and stakeholders encountered in the course of worksCarry out any other duties appropriate to this postExperience RequiredRelevant experience in civil engineering or utility sector site management– at least 5 years\’ proven experience in a similar roleWorking knowledge of the NEC 3 Form of ContractOperational and commercial awareness within the civil infrastructure or utilities environmentWater/utility network experience desirable.Essential QualificationsRelevant industry qualification (HND/ HNC/ BEng) or equivalentUp to date SMSTS qualification,Appropriate CSCS card.Valid Driving LicenceA First Aid at work qualification is desirableDesirable QualificationsHealth, Safety and Environmental Management (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate)NEBOSHThis is a contract role with an immediate start availableApply For This Job TitleNameAddressPostcodeYour EmailAttach CV
