A leading Main Contractor that has been operating for over 60 years has a great opportunity for a site-based Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a project in Birmingham. The company has a turnover of circa £600m and works across major multi-disciplinary construction projects within the Building and Civil Engineering sectors. A large area of their work includes new build industrial projects.
They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £20m new build, steel frame industrial project in Birmingham. The role is site-based and they are looking for someone to join as soon as possible. The Senior Quantity Surveyor must be able to run a project autonomously and have a track record working on similar new build, steel frame industrial projects up to £20m in value.
Experience:
- Ideally Degree Qualified or other relevant qualifications
- Experience working for a reputable Main Contractor
- Track record working on new build industrial/warehouse projects
- Steel frame experience
- Capable of working on projects up to £20m autonomously
- Able to commute to Birmingham
