Senior Quantity Surveyor – HS2

Salary: £65 – £70k + pkg

Location: Oxfordshire

Regions: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, East Midlands, Midlands, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire

An opportunity has come available within a growing specialist contractor within Civil Piling and Ground Engineering. Due to continued growth in established markets and expansion into new areas, they are looking to expand their established Commercial team working on a major civil engineering project based in Berkshire.

With over 25 years’ experience operating throughout Europe, they provide a comprehensive range of Civil engineering, Piling and Ground Engineering experience working on multi discipline projects ranging in value.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Commercial Manager and mentoring Grad / AQS’s, you will be responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain. Managing projects from award through to final accounts, reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations, assisting with change and managing variations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects, in a company that will offer you career growth.

Key Experience

  • Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification and experience
  • Civil Engineering and Piling experience
  • Previous Main Contracting and or Sub Contractor experience
  • NEC contract experience
  • Sub contract procurement and management experience
  • Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience

As part of a lucrative salary the successful candidate will get a package which will include, car or allowance, pension, health care and 25 days holiday.
