Senior Planner – London + Brighton - Major New Mixed Use Development
Pinnacle Recruitment is working on behalf of a major main contractor building three multi-million pound mixed-use development schemes in London. They are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support these exciting projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading organization, collaborating closely with project teams and surveyors to lead construction programmes, adjust project plans as needed, and advise on systems of working development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement appropriate techniques and sequencing based on each project's individual needs.
- Determine logistics solutions and resources by investigating sites and local environments.
- Prepare logistics plans.
- Schedule labour, equipment, temporary works, design info, and procurement for each scheme.
- Monitor progress and compare with projected schedules.
- Use graphical and scheduled media to reflect progress and forecasts.
- Utilize specialist planning software, including 4D.
- Prepare logistics plans and write method statements.
- Create visual schedules of work and present plans effectively.
- Report findings and recommend solutions for delays.
- Record relevant events for potential entitlement claims.
Candidate Requirements:
- Positive, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and formal reporting skills.
- Experience in contract and tender planning.
- Preferably degree-qualified, minimum HNC or HND qualification.
