An award winning Main contractor with turnover in excess of £4b in UK per annum are seeking a Section Foreman to work on heavy civil infrastructure projects up to £30m and their flood defence and Environment Agency projects up to £20m each.
The person will be required to work either in Cumbria, Manchester, Lancashire, Warrington, Bolton, Sheffield or Wakefield.
Must come from a civil engineering main or subcontractor background.
Must have experience in civil engineering, water, highways or flood defence or Environment Agency.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day the management, planning and supervision of the works including responsibility for the direct and labour-only workforce and sub contractors.
Must meet health and safety requirements and ensure all people on site are safe and have been correctly briefed.
Person specification
- Working for a tier one leading civil engineering contractor.
- Working on civil engineering, water, flood/sea/river defence projects up to £30m.
- SSMTS or SSSTS is desired but not essential.
- Must have CSCS Card.
