To be considered for this role, you will be:
- A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS / FRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer
- Having extensive survey and valuation knowledge within the residential sector
- Analytical and perceptive with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work professionally, courteously, and respectfully
- Capable of working independently but also a team player with flexibility and commitment
- Possessing a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
- Proficient in QuestXit2, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

The Role
To act on behalf of the company, Allied Surveyors, and their clients, undertaking residential surveys and valuation work to the highest standards, adhering to current legislation and best practices.
Main Duties – Valuation/Surveys
- Preparing accurate property valuations and condition assessments for various residential property types, mainly for secured lending, applying expert knowledge of building defects and the local market
- Conducting thorough inspections and surveys of buildings
- Preparing reports for mortgage valuations, building surveys, homebuyers reports, and expert witness cases
- Using online databases and applications for instructions, reports, and information gathering
- Maintaining detailed inspection notes and files according to company procedures

- RedBook RICS Valuation standards and related professional guidance
- Current RICS legislation and relevant legal requirements
- Code of Measuring Practice
- Health and Safety regulations
- House in Multiple Occupation legislation
- Client-specific requirements
