A reputable Main Contractor based in East London has an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. The company specialises in the delivery of top‑quality projects across London and the Home Counties for both private and public sector clients, across a range of projects. They work in the Residential, Social Housing, Commercial, Education, Industrial, Healthcare and Retail sectors, carrying out new build, refurbishment, fit‑out, restoration and maintenance projects ranging from £50,000 to £5m in value.
As a business, they are very client‑focused and provide sustainable and value‑for‑money projects, delivered through effective planning and communication, and a partnership ethos that builds early trust and integration with their clients. They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to be based out of their East London offices, and to visit sites within their area of operations which includes London and the Home Counties.
In terms of upcoming projects, they have a lot on the residential side (new build and refurbishment) but also have projects in the education sector and commercial offices, so ideally the Quantity Surveyor will be multi‑faceted and have experience working on a range of projects.
Experience:- Track record working for a reputable Main Contractor
- Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects up to £5m in value
- Ideally have experience working on a range of different projects across multiple sectors
- Excellent commercial skills and awareness
- Able to work autonomously on multiple projects at any given time
- Able to commute to East London and happy to visit sites across London and the Home Counties
