We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main civil engineering contractor specializing in a variety of civil engineering sectors across the UK, with a primary focus on infrastructure, highways, and groundworks projects. The role will be based on projects within Oxfordshire and the surrounding South and Home counties regions.
Our client is a multimillion-pound contractor with over 25 years of industry experience and a strong reputation across the country. Successful candidates will join a dedicated team that works closely with clients to understand their requirements and objectives, delivering quality, innovative, and sustainable projects that exceed expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications, including:
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Progression from an engineering background
- Experience in civil sectors
- Chartered or working towards chartership
- Experience managing on-site teams (engineers, forepersons, etc.)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Preparation of valuations and applications for payment
- Preparation of cost reports for clients
- Management of subcontractor and material procurement schedules
- Administration of subcontractor and supplier accounts
- Contract administration, including change management and maintaining related registers
In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive package including a car or allowance, pension, and paid holidays.
