Salary: £35000 – 45000
Location: West Midlands
Regions: East Midlands, North East

An opportunity has come available within a growing regional team, for a leading Main & Regional Contractor. Due to continued growth in established markets and expansion into new areas, they are looking to expand their established Commercial team covering the North and East of England, areas include; Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

With over 30 years’ experience operating throughout the UK, they provide a comprehensive range of Civil engineer & Infrastructure solutions (minor & major civils work, highways and infrastructure).

The Role

As a key member of the commercial team, reporting into the Senior Quantity Surveyor and mentoring Grad /AQS’s, you will be responsible for procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain. Managing projects from award through to final accounts, reporting on monthly cost/value reconciliations, assisting with change and managing variations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects, in a company that will offer you career growth.

Key Experience

  • Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying or other relevant qualification and experience
  • Civil Engineering and Infrastructure experience
  • Previous Main Contracting and or Sub Contractor experience
  • NEC contract experience
  • Sub contract procurement and management experience
  • Financial reporting, remeasurement and take-off experience
