Quantity Surveyor β Highways
Salary: Β£45,000 β Β£55,000
Location: East Midlands
Region: East Midlands
We are looking for an experienced Highways Quantity Surveyor to work within the East Midlands Area. Working for a leading Highways and Civils contractor, you will lead a team consisting of 2 Quantity Surveyors and a commercial assistant, and work closely with the client to reach the best outcomes.
Duties/Requirements:
- Preparation of monthly cost/value reports for the area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members
- Measurement of works and agreement of same with the client and subcontractors
- Agreement of payment of subcontractor accounts β monitoring of accounts
- Must be conversant with NEC forms of contract
- Must have recently worked within the highways sector
- Must have experience in Civils β Road construction (3-5 years)
