A dynamic, forward-thinking and growing main contractor with a turnover of circa £100m has an excellent opportunity for a Project Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a project in Bedford, Bedfordshire.
The company have been around for approximately 10 years and have continuously grown from strength to strength. They are privately owned and managed by a dynamic team with extensive experience in all aspects of the construction industry.
They specialise in the delivery of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across a range of sectors including industrial, retail, commercial and infrastructure, between £5m to £30m in value. They offer their key clients services nationwide; they have some excellent lasting relationships and win a lot of repeat business as a result.
They are looking for an experienced Project Surveyor to work on a £16m new build industrial and commercial project in Bedford, which also consists of infrastructure works. The Project Surveyor will be supported by a full commercial team on site and the project will last for approximately 50 weeks. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding main contractor that work on a range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Support on-site commercial activities on a £16m new build industrial and commercial project in Bedford, Bedfordshire, with a full commercial team on site.
- Contribute to the delivery of projects across industrial, commercial and infrastructure sectors.
- Engage in cost control, contractual administration, procurement and reporting as part of the project team.
Qualifications
- Ideally Degree qualified or other relative construction qualification
- Extensive experience working for a reputable main contractor
- Track record working on industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects
- Excellent commercial skills and awareness
- Full UK drivers’ license
