A leading piling and ground engineering Contractor is seeking a Project Planner to work on a multi discipline very prestigious project based in the midlands
The ideal candidate must have a strong civils engineering background ideally with piling / ground engineering exposure
The ideal candidate must have:
- Working knowledge of NEC, ECC/ICE Forms of Contract, SHW, SHW method of measurements and CESMM, Team Plan,
- HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience gained from carrying out a similar role
- Strong civils background with good experience
- Proficient in Asta Planning Software or Primavera P6
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Production of tender and contract programme
- Production of planning file, notes and worksheets
- Production of quality phasing drawings/flowcharts/time slices/mass-haul diagrams
- Identifies temporary works and traffic management requirements
- Putting forward VE alternatives
- Produces programmes showing key constraints/key off-site procurement and design/key resources levelled and linked/float analysis/time risk allowances and is of optimistic and realistic overall durations
- Liaises with internal and external colleagues
- Production of change programme and revised contract
- Management of as built records and measure productivity
- Production of planning report
- Measurement of planning standard
- Identifies opportunities and threat
Essential–Must have experience in a planning role with a UK Main Contractor or Subcontractor on a Civil Engineering Project
