A Main Contractor is seeking a Project Planner to join the civil rail sector of the business to begin work on the prestigious HS2 project. This offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to work on the largest civil rail infrastructure project in history, with clear progression paths onto more senior roles.
The Ideal Candidate should:
- Be Degree Qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
- Must come from an engineering background, this is imperative.
- Have at least 2 years experience as a planner with a main contractor
- Be able to use a variety of Planning software including P6
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of schedule data for tenders and contracts
- Work with Project Managers to determine schedule dates for work activities and milestones to support the project schedule
- Establish work sequence and activity durations for assigned projects
- Attend programme & progress meetings with Client
- Review and analyse the supplier’s schedules submitted
