We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our regional offices in Bedfordshire and London, working on rail infrastructure projects including the Minor Works Framework, LUL Projects, and various projects for Network Rail with budgets up to £200m.
Applicants should have a proven track record working on civil engineering projects within a rail environment, preferably with an engineering background, a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering, a CSCS card, and PTS certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to motivate and manage project teams effectively.
Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Controlling safety, quality, and environmental activities
- Site supervision
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Producing health & safety plans and work package plans
- Writing risk assessments
- Managing temporary works
- Conducting pre-start site inspections
- Planning, including road closures and possessions
- Leading toolbox talks and HSEQ briefings
- Providing plant and materials
- Client liaison
