A leading Regional Main Contractor has an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate level Planner to join their pre-development team on a permanent basis, based out of their Cambridgeshire offices. The company has been around for many years and has achieved continuous growth and success, combining traditional values with an innovative and forward-thinking approach. As a business, they provide design, sustainable, partnered construction and project management services for private and public sector clients on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, up to £50m in value.
They carry out new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects in sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, leisure, retail, industrial, defence, heritage and housing. They are looking for an Intermediate Planner that has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a reputable Main Contractor, ideally on a range of projects in a number of sectors.
Intermediate Planner:- Ideally Degree qualified or other construction qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
- Experience in meeting deadlines without compromising on quality
- Able to produce programmes and planning information for both tenders and live projects
- Capable of liaising with the site teams and assisting in the production of amended programmes
- Able to prepare 3D site logistic plans using Trimble Sketch-Up
- Proficient in ASTA Powerproject, AutoCAD, MS Office
- Able to communicate across departments with all levels of staff
- Present programmes and tender information at meetings
- Review tender documentation to ensure profitability is ensured through accurate assessment of timelines
- Produce programmes and planning information for both tenders and live projects
- Able to communicate to Cambridge on a daily basis
