OLE/OLEC Engineer – Rail

We are recruiting for a Senior OLE Engineer for a long term contract role based in London. Ideally you will be a Chartered Engineer with extensive UK Mainline Rail experience.
The initial duration is up to 1 year.
You will be an experienced OLE Engineer with a strong all round background working on major Network Rail and LU projects and have knowledge of railway design and delivery processes.
The Role
The role involves leading conceptual, outline and detailed design and delivery for OLE engineering solutions in allocation, basic and construction design and delivery.
- Lead feasibility studies, technical reports and other written documents.
- Lead the design, detailed allocation, construction design, delivery, operations and assessments on the Overhead Line Engineering.
- Deliver work to programme, budget and specification
- Be competent to check and approve OLE engineering solutions
The role purpose is to successfully deliver a large/complex multi-disciplinary project or a portfolio of smaller projects by leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Skills Required
- Significant experience in Overhead Line Electrification.
- Knowledge of UK Rail industry.
- Enthusiastic, committed with a ‘can do’ mentality
- Computer literate with MS Word and other MS Office modules.
- Driving licence desirable.
- Hold Valid PTS Training and Experience Degree educated Membership of a recognised institution, i.e. MIET.
- Extensive experience on leading UK rail projects.
- Extensive experience in design and construct rail projects. Excellent communication skills with Clients and design team members.
