A Mechanical Manager is required to work for a Main Contractor in London. The projects you will be overseeing are various commercial offices, education and super prime residential schemes all around London valuing up to £10m. This main contractor is well known in the construction industry for their impressive track record and their strong pipeline of work, specialising in new build, fit-out, and refurbishment schemes.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre tender and bid support of all projects.
  • Providing mechanical advice.
  • Tender reviews and reconciliation.
  • Procurement of all utility and sub-contractor companies.
  • Management of the Mechanical design and build, utilities and sub-contractors.
  • Advise on and implement strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify risks relating to the Building Services design.
  • Manage all mechanical installations on-site.
  • Provide full support to the design and site teams during delivery.

Ideal candidate:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Manager.
  • Degree qualified or have a similar building management qualification.
  • Main contracting experience.
  • Mechanically biased.
  • M&E experience.
  • New build and refurbishment experience.
  • Can oversee the project from inception to completion.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Full driving licence.
