A Procurement Manager is required to work for a Main Contractor in South London. This Contractor aims for a profit turnover over £1.5b by 2020, with projects valued up to £30m. The developer specialises in new build houses and apartments and has an impressive track record with low staff turnover.
This role covers operational, strategic, and supply chain responsibilities for the contractor’s procurement plan and supply chain strategy & plan.
Responsibilities- Management of Procurement Team
- Oversee all current company agreements
- Collaborate with Estimating, Design, Commercial and Operational teams to ensure projects are priced, specified, and delivered under the correct company agreement
- Provide strategic support for work-winning and secured projects
- Ensure HSE & Q standards, operating processes, company policies and all legislative requirements are understood and applied at all times
- Learn and understand the United Way of working, ensuring processes are complied with and adopted into daily disciplines
- Maintain relevant databases as required
- Undertake archiving of completed documents as required
