Through their Partnership arm, they also deliver a range of client side services to Local Authorities and Registered Providers. Due to continued growth and expansion, they seek to attract an Employers Agent/Project Manager.
Role
Take projects from inception to completion, including Client liaison as Project Manager/Project deliverer.
Duties
- Work for a small team, reporting directly to the Team Leader /Delivery Director.
Clients
Principally RSL’s, Local Authorities and other smaller Clients based around London.
Experience (minimum 2 years PQE)

Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
- Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers.
- Consideration will be given to experienced graduates who will provide assistance to the team.
General
- Liaise closely with Clients, Contractors, Developers.
- Comply with, or improve upon, their Key Performance Indicators.
- Report on a regular basis on status of projects and update Fee Projections.
Pre-Contract Procedures and Administration
- Deal with/organising all pre-contract investigations, surveys and other due diligence issues required by Clients, including sustainability issues.
- Chair and minute pre-contract meetings; immediate issue of minutes to all relevant parties.
- Project manage where applicable other consultants on behalf of client.
- Undertake all client funding and developments control requirements.
- Prepare Employer’s Requirements, Performance Specifications, RDS etc.
- Amend contracts, prepare Build Agreements and JCT contracts.
- Tendering (single & 2-stage) including EU Procurement Analysis & Reporting.
- Prepare and issue Contract Documents.
- Ensure the appropriate stage invoices are issued.
Post Contract Procedures and Administration
- Chair and minute site meetings; immediate issue to all relevant parties.
- Regular site inspections; reporting of same.
- Timely issue of relevant Instructions, Certificates and Notices.
- Assess contractor payment applications & advise client on cashflow forecast.
- Co-ordinate management of projects as a whole, ensuring timely and satisfactory delivery to Clients.
- Carry out/organise pre-handover inspections, including recording gas, electric, water meter readings etc.
- Carry out/organise End of Defects Inspections; monitor defects; issue relevant/appropriate Certificates/Notices.
- Prepare Final Accounts (claims where applicable) & issue final statements.
