Location: London

Development Manager urgently required for a large Investment Developer based in London. The role is for a Project Delivery Development Manager and is to deliver one of the most high profile schemes in London that is set to become an iconic part of the City's regeneration programme.

Responsibilities

  • Managing External Consultants
  • Working with all consultants involved with the design, planning and other regulatory body requirements
  • Select, Co-ordinate, appoint and manage consultants on a day to day basis thus ensuring a commercially minded approach to cost savings and value engineering from a technical perspective.
  • To tender and monitor fee budgets
  • Understand the technical opportunities and constraints
  • Commission surveys and reports as required
  • Produce and monitor planning programmes
  • Obtain Necessary Approvals
  • Planning Permission – Manage process through to consent
  • Planning Conditions/ S 106 requirements – Managing the discharge of conditions and obligations
  • Building Regulation Approval
  • Environmental Permissions
  • Work closely with Commercial and Project Managers on Site
  • Chair Meetings
  • Prepare and Maintain Programmes
  • Prepare Fee tenders
  • Advise the company on changes in Technical and Industry Matters
  • Work with wider project partners and stakeholders
