We are looking for a Foreman to join our client who provides highway maintenance services across the UK and works within Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of site personnel and subcontractors, reporting of all relevant site activities, managing the quality of work performed, meeting specifications and ensuring all statutory requirements are adhered to on site whilst maintaining outputs.
Skills and Experience:
- Must have worked in the highways industry (Civil Engineering)
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous knowledge of traditional construction activities is essential
- Proven ability to supervise construction subcontractors would be an asset
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of environmental management and quality systems
- Ability to use own initiative and apply a deductive approach when maintaining productivity and cost effectiveness
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Clean driving licence
Key qualifications and Accreditations:
- CSCS card
- NVQ 3 or 4
- First Aid
- Manual Handling
- SMSTS
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
