We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Agent with highways experience to work for a UK leading Highways Maintenance contractor working on projects throughout the Hertfordshire area.
As an experienced Site Agent you will have worked on numerous highways related schemes including planned works and reactive works, experience in working with Local Authorities, managing direct staff and subcontractors. You will be responsible for Health & Safety, compiling job packs that comply with CDM regulations. Working closely with the design team and operational teams you will provide support and assistance when required.
Experience and Requirements
- HNC/ HND/ ONC qualified
- Recent experience of working within highways (2-3 years recent)
- Preferably from an Engineering background
- Proven experience of working in a civil Engineering environment
- Planning experience
- Commitment to Quality, Safety and Environment
- Good working knowledge of IT systems
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
