Overview
Our client, a UK-leading highways contractor, is looking for an experienced Supervisor who is self-motivated, a good communicator, and who is able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working within the Highways Sector.
This is a hands-on role and it will be working at a fast pace for a demanding client.
Salary & Location
Salary: £38000 – 45000
Location: Kent
Region: Kent
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the client, act as a strong supervisor and communicate at all levels
- Overseeing and carrying out backfilling and muck away operations
- Overseeing and carrying out reinstatement of tarmac and/or slabs, concrete, block paving and kerbs
- Complete all relevant paperwork to complete day-to-day tasks – risk assessments etc.
- Provide good customer service when dealing with internal and external personnel
Working hours are Monday to Friday between 7am to 5pm. Overtime and weekend work available.
Requirements
- CSCS / SMSTS
- Class 2 HGV with clamshell ticket and CPC
- 7.5T driving licence
- 3.5T driving licence
- NRSWA / streetworks
- First aid, manual handling, abrasive wheels, cable avoidance and EUSR
