I have an opportunity for a Freelance Working Foreman / Site Manager to join a well-established Main Contractor on a contract for approximately 8 weeks’ working on a college refurbishment project.
The company have been operating for over a century, carrying out a range of new build and refurbishment projects across multiple sectors including residential, commercial and education.
They are looking for a Freelance Working Foreman / Site Manager to work on an occupied College refurbishment project for approximately 8 weeks’, starting in August. There is a good chance there will be further work available, so the role could go on for a lot longer if all goes well.
They are looking for somebody with a carpentry background that is happy to be hands-on and on the tools when required. Previous experience working in occupied buildings is also essential as during the course of the project the College will be occupied.
Experience:
- Carpentry background
- Happy to be hands on / on the tools when required
- Experience working on refurbishment projects
- Track record working in occupied buildings
- CSCS
- Able to commute to and work in Oxford on daily basis
- Available to start in August
