A highly respected and reputable Main Contractor that have been operating for over 80 years have an excellent opportunity for a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join them, based from their offices in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.
The company carry out high quality restoration and refurbishment services to residential and commercial properties, including listed buildings. Their experience of blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques has led to the business being awarded a number of prestigious projects over the years.
Business is going strong and with a number of exciting projects currently ongoing and in the pipeline, they are looking to bring in a Freelance Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial team. This is a great opportunity to work on some high quality projects for a well-respected Main Contractor. The role will be office based with occasional visits to site; with most projects located in Central London.
Criteria
- Ideally Degree Qualified
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a reputable main contractor
- Strong refurbishment experience (internals and externals)
- Ideally have experience working on listed buildings (not essential)
- Excellent commercial awareness
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full UK Drivers’ License
- Able to commute to Bishops Stortford on a daily basis and happy travelling into London for site visits
