We are currently looking for a Framework Commercial Lead to work for an industry leading main contractor with offices based across London. In this role, you will be responsible for up to £400m worth of work over a 4 year period for client Network Rail. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for a team of Commercial Managers and Managing Quantity Surveyors.
In order to be considered for this role you must have excellent understanding of NEC Target cost contracts, as well as previous experience within the civil engineering/ rail industry working with a main contractor.
Candidate Profile & Responsibilities:- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
- Ideally Chartered through RICS
- At least 10 – 15 years experience, with most recent experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Network Rail procedures
- Understanding of NEC Target Cost
- Be able to effectively manage a large budget & team
- Be able to build and maintain client relationships
- At all times represent core values of the business
- Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Efficiently manage all financial functions including Cost management of projects, Forecast cost to completion, Management of CV systems and Financial reporting
- Recruit and conduct interviews where necessary
