We are currently looking for a Framework Commercial Lead to work for an industry leading main contractor with offices based across London. In this role, you will be responsible for up to £400m worth of work over a 4 year period for client Network Rail. Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for a team of Commercial Managers and Managing Quantity Surveyors.
In order to be considered for this role you must have:
- Excellent understanding of NEC Target cost contracts
- Previous experience within the civil engineering/rail industry working with a main contractor
- Degree Qualified in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
- Ideally Chartered through RICS
- At least 10 – 15 years experience, with most recent experience in a similar role
- Understanding of Network Rail procedures
- Ability to effectively manage a large budget & team
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Represent core values of the business at all times
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Efficiently manage all financial functions including cost management of projects, forecast cost to completion, management of CV systems and financial reporting
- Recruit and conduct interviews where necessary
