Finishing Manager
Salary: £40-45K + Car allowance
Location: Tower Hamlets
Region: London
We are currently recruiting for a main contractor who are looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to work on a busy project in Tower Hamlets converting an old building into flats. The project has 180 units in total, ranging from private sale to shared ownership. The right candidate will be responsible for 50 units from 1st fix to handover to the end client. You will also be expected to successfully manage subcontractor performance to ensure work is completed to the highest standard.
- You must have experience of working for a main contractor on similar schemes.
- You will be able to demonstrate working with clients during the finishing/internal phases of the project.
- You will be able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness (SLA’s, time of build, quality, profit etc.).
- Proven experience of successfully managing a sub-contractor workforce to a high standard.
- Strong leadership and people management skills to ensure that objectives are achieved.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- A methodical, systematic and logical approach.
- Focus and drive to achieve targets, budgets and results.
- Strong understanding of health & safety processes.
- Current SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid certificates.
- Stable work history.
