Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for an Estimator to produce project tender packages for existing and new clients within the water industry. This role will be covering Kent and Sussex.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 DOE
Duties:
- Interpreting the project brief and producing a pricing schedule capturing all scope required
- Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour and equipment
- Conducting site visits with the supply chain as required in order to obtain quotes
- Obtaining and assessing quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
- Liaising with the project controls team to build a tender programme for the works to ensure adequate project preliminaries are applied
- Assessing the risk levels associated with the project and ensuring adequate risk is applied to price and programme
- Preparing and presenting tender quotations internally for review and approval
- Preparing and presenting tender quotations to the client
- Assisting with bids for new contracts/frameworks
- Assisting with handover to the project delivery team and supporting the activities of buyers where required
- Working collaboratively with all other departments and supporting senior managers within the business

- Competent in using Microsoft Word & Excel
- Competent in using Microsoft Project
