This is a unique opportunity for a young ambitious individual to join an Award Winning Civils Construction firms in London. This is an ideal role for an individual or trainee Estimator who wants to take the next step in their career and progress forward.
We are currently recruiting for an Estimating Assistant to join an established sub-team of 5. The successful candidate will act as a team player providing efficient and pro-active support to the Estimating Director and the wider business. This role involves taking ownership and managing the estimating process for each tender, supporting the preconstruction process. The ideal candidate will have solid administration experience and have a can do attitude /
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Downloading and setting up tender documents
• Updating tender log
• Bid coordination
• chasing quotes
• Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors
Key Experience:
• Proficient in Excel,
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to read drawings and understand from a technical perspective
