Location: Surrey
Respectable residential developer with extensive years’ worth of experience, who have been delivering extraordinary residential projects throughout the South East. They pride themselves in the quality of each project with each scheme having its own unique design and build. Due to the growing success within the business we are seeking an experienced Engineer within the residential sector who is proactive and methodical, a team player and able to get the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Assisting structural engineers in the design of structural members
- Carrying out site visit inspections and completing site visit reports
- Assisting in structural surveys
- Liaising with members of the design team
- Achieving quality in design and maintaining the Company’s innovative market
- Enhancing the Company’s reputation through driving cutting edge solutions
- Problem solving on a day to day basis
- Support and assist the Technical Management to ensure that all designs are in accordance with the expectation of the project
- Follow technical processes and procedures whilst carrying out your role and improve or address any Technical issues in order to improve the process of any given project
- Checking full working drawing packages
Key Attributes
- Strong knowledge and practical experience using software packages (AutoCAD & Revit)
- Capable of producing structural drawings from initial stages to construction phase
- Someone who is able to deliver a project from start to finish
- Enthusiastic and able to drive a team
- People person who is able to communicate well
- Experience in new build high rise and reinforced concrete residential projects
- Methodical, degree qualified in construction or equivalent
- Highly motivated with strong desire to grow within the business
- Good problem solver and work with minimal instruction
- Smart, presentable and happy to deal directly with customers and clients
- Punctual, reliable and good practical skills
- Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
