A leading top 10 main contractor has a great opportunity for a Design Manager to join them, based in their offices in Luton with weekly site visits. They are open to taking somebody on a freelance or permanent basis, or freelance with a view to going permanent further down the line. The company carries out new build, design and build, refurbishment and regeneration projects across the UK, transforming communities and building attractive, affordable homes and neighbourhoods.
They are looking for a Design Manager that has strong all-round project experience, but new build residential experience is crucial as 90% of the work will be focused on residential projects and 10% on commercial projects. RC frame, Timber frame and Traditional build experience is necessary and the Design Manager will need to be fairly local to their Luton offices.
Responsibilities:- Solid track record working for a reputable main contractor or developer
