We are looking to recruit an experienced Contract Manager with Highways experience. Working for a leading highways contractor that operates across the UK. The successful candidate will lead and motivate the contract team (including supply chain service providers), develop and implement business strategy and will achieve the agreed safety, financial, commercial, growth, and client performance targets.

You will need the following:

  • Contract Management experience within Highways Maintenance / Civil Engineering
  • Min 3 - 4 years experience
  • Experience of working at all levels, from operational to director level
  • Smart and professional in both appearance & approach
  • Good communicator and strong leader

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and promoting a safe working environment for all operations
  • Monitoring safety targets and completion of safety audits
  • Undertaking safety investigations for incidents
  • Managing operational sections in line with budget and business plan
  • Meeting financial targets and analysing weekly cost and value progress returns
  • Developing and promoting close working relationships with the client
