A leading Regional Main Contractor that builds, refurbishes and regenerates homes and communities across the UK has an excellent opportunity for a Design Co-ordinator to join them on a permanent basis, working on a large, long-term regeneration scheme in South East London.

The company is an innovative and ambitious business that combines their industry expertise and unrivalled local knowledge to help transform communities and leave a lasting legacy everywhere they work. They are working on a long-term regeneration scheme in South East London comprising the demolition and redevelopment of over 1000 homes, with circa 1500 new high quality, mixed tenure homes. This is a long-term scheme that is well underway with many years left to run.

They are looking for an experienced Design Co-ordinator with a strong track record working on new build residential projects for a reputable main contractor or developer. The role is based on site and working within a very strong Technical team. This is a great opportunity to join an outstanding company that rewards their staff and encourages career progression.

Experience:
  • Experience of coordinating and providing technical guidance and support to residential schemes
  • Experience working on regeneration schemes is highly advantageous
  • Ideally Degree Qualified / HNC / ONC
  • Competent using AutoCAD, Viewpoint, Excel, Word, Power Projects, Power Point
  • Strong Design and construction knowledge
  • Good Technical and Building Construction knowledge
  • Building Regulations knowledge
  • A good understanding of NHBC legislation
  • Strong on Health & Safety / CDM Regulations
  • Good understanding of Planning legislation
