A specialist Piling Contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager within Mini Piling working on multi-discipline schemes across London and the South East. Reporting to the Piling Director, this role is to assist with the day-to-day running of the southern Mini-Piling Department.
You will ensure projects are completed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with company procedures, in line with design and specification. You will assist the Management/QS in the preparation of estimates during the tender phase and regularly attend site maintaining good working relationships with clients.
Essentially, you should have previous experience in a similar role within the piling industry. You will need good communication, organisation, leadership, and supervisory skills with the ability to assess, weigh up risks, and resolve problems on site and technically, in a calm, safe, and effective manner, without compromising working standards.
We anticipate that interested parties will have a Civil Engineering Degree or be suitably qualified through experience within Piling and/or mini Piles. Due to the nature of the role, individuals will require a full driving licence and the flexibility and confidence to travel to off-site meetings as required.
