I have an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join an award-winning housebuilder on a permanent basis, overseeing new build residential projects across Surrey and Sussex. The company has been around for approximately 20 years, and during this time they have evolved into one of the leading housebuilders in the country, with regional offices across the South East of England. Their developments range from large family homes and luxury houses for growing families to city centre apartments. They are quality-focused and are recognised as one of the leading, most trusted providers of quality homes throughout the UK.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager with a proven track record of managing up to 8 projects at any given time; someone that can juggle and ensure projects are being delivered to the highest standards. The Contracts Manager will need to have extensive experience working for a reputable house builder on large residential projects up to £30m and be happy to work across Surrey and Sussex. Main contracting experience is ideal, but someone from a developer background is also suitable for this role.

Experience:
  • Ideally degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Track record working for a reputable housebuilder
  • Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager overseeing multiple new build residential projects at any given time
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently and still ensure they are being delivered to the highest standards
  • Excellent man management skills with the ability to motivate site teams
  • Happy to work across Surrey and Sussex
