I have an excellent opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join one of the South East’s leading main contractors on a permanent basis, initially overseeing two large scale, long term new build housing schemes in London. The company has been operating for over 40 years and has earned a great reputation in the industry for delivering quality housing projects across the South East. They carry out new build, refurbishment and regeneration schemes; they are community focused and believe in building safely and delivering environmentally sustainable buildings for their clients.

The initial focus of the Contracts Manager will be on two projects; one is a £70m build for a Housing Association comprising 180 units with a mix of tenure along with some commercial units, based in South East London. Piling works are due to commence in March 2017 and the build programme is 120 units. The other project is based in West London, building a £40m Housing Association scheme which is due to commence in March 2017. The build is split over several adjacent sites and will be overseen by a Senior Project Manager.

They are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager that has a strong track record of overseeing new build housing schemes of similar value, for a reputable main contractor. Ideally you will have experience working on Housing Association schemes, possess excellent all‑round construction knowledge and have experience of RC frames and high rise projects.

  • Strong track record of managing multiple Housing / Residential schemes
  • Main contracting / new build residential background
  • Excellent all‑round residential / construction knowledge and experience
  • RC frame / high rise experience
