A high profile building contractor urgently requires a Commercial Manager to work and help lead their busy Commercial Department. The company has been established for over 15 years and has an excellent reputation in the industry, predominantly building residential apartment blocks in central London for various clients including RP’s, HA’s, and developers.
Projects will be a mixture of joint ventures and competitively won work. Apartment schemes will range from 10 to 22 storeys and will generally be reinforced concrete frame.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with running a team of Quantity Surveyors and commercial support or be ready to take this step. You will have worked for a building contractor rather than purely client-side, ensuring a thorough understanding of competitive and cost-driven work on tight contractor margins and familiarity with ensuring competitive pricing.
