An excellent opportunity for an experienced Signalling Engineer to join a large multi-discipline project working for a major UK Rail Infrastructure company. This company is a leader in Underground and Mainline Rail Systems projects and is looking for exceptional engineers and managers to join their thriving team in London.

Working in a challenging environment, you will need to call on all of your technical experience and management skills to deliver the projects to tight deadlines. You will be responsible for working closely with design and delivery, whilst managing numerous stakeholders through the process. Your knowledge of engineering and understanding of the challenges that will occur will be key to being able to deliver the milestones in place.

Your expertise as a Signalling Engineer will enable you to implement Network Rail, LU and other main systems and procedures to maintain a cost-effective, high quality, safe and environmentally responsible approach to relevant projects. Your experience will enable you to liaise with regulators and others as appropriate. You must have an ability to manage all engineering activities so that they result in schemes that are affordable and meet programme requirements in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Essential requirements:

  • Signalling project engineer experience.
  • Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of signalling projects.
  • Client sided experience preferable.
  • Strong communication skills with Network Rail and LU understanding.
  • Managing Interfaces.
  • Innovation.
  • Train Detection & Positioning.
  • Wireless Comms.
  • IRSE not essential but preferred.
  • Able to manage your own time and be responsible for your output.
