Location: Northern Home Counties Regions: Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire My client is a residential developer who specializes in luxury high-end traditional build houses and apartments. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a Buyer to support the current commercial team for their prestigious developments both future and present within the Northern Home Counties Region. This is an office-based position where you will report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with the procurement team on their current and new residential developments of new build homes. As a Buyer, you will be procuring materials to meet the build programme of the project. Your duties will include: Procuring brickwork, carpentry, and sanitary materials Hiring plant e.g. cabins, forklifts, fencing, cranes, etc. Compiling monthly reports on budgeting control for all materials Resolving supplier disputes Supporting the estimating team with pre-tender quotations and resolving material specification issues Experience Required: At least 3-5 years of procurement experience with a residential property developer Experience with procuring materials for new build developments Some knowledge of construction techniques Comprehension of building, environmental, and disability standards Outstanding communication and negotiation skills Proven track record with stable UK employment and exposure to residential construction with a recognized developer or company If you think this would be a great opportunity and are interested, please send an updated CV to be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
