Salary: £80,000 plus 20% bonus plus benefits

Location: Milton Keynes

Business Development Manager urgently required for an established privately owned Midlands based Building Contractor who have a mixture of projects in industrial, warehouses and Data Centre type projects which are more commonly known as steel framed construction projects that have a relatively quick turn around in build time.

This high profile role is fully responsible for bringing enquiries into the company, promoting and raising the profile of the company, ensuring sufficient enquiries are received to achieve target turnover and ensuring the company maximises the relationships with their already extensive client base and brings in new work from clients who may not be currently using this contractor to build out their industrial type schemes.

The ideal candidate must already be or have worked for a Building Contractor in a Business Development role and be familiar with actively raising the profile of the company to existing and potential clients ensuring clients understand the services provided. This will include attending appropriate functions, conferences, preparing and displaying company exhibition material and meeting clients at all levels within their organisations.

To actively build relationships with clients at all levels appropriate to being awarded work. This role will suit someone who is able to multi-task, has energy and is dynamic.

In return you will get an excellent salary package of up to £80k, a 20% bonus and a full comprehensive package. You will be working with a market leader within steel frame structures with excellent continuity of work and prospects that match.
