Business Development Director urgently required for an established privately owned Building Contractor who have a mixture of projects within Social Housing, Education, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, Police, Fire Service, Health Authorities and various private clients.
This high profile role is fully responsible for:
- Bringing enquiries into the company
- Promoting and raising the profile of the company
- Ensuring sufficient enquiries are received to achieve target turnover
- Ensuring the company remains on current tender lists and applying for any lists the company may not be on
To actively raise the profile of the company to existing and potential clients ensuring clients understand the services provided. This will include:
- Attending appropriate functions and conferences
- Preparing and displaying company exhibition material
- Meeting clients at all levels within their organisations
To actively build relationships with clients at all levels appropriate to being awarded work. This role is responsible for Business Development Managers and Bid Writers and will report into the Managing Director.
