An award-winning main contractor with a turnover in excess of £4b in the UK per annum is seeking a Section Foreman to work on heavy civil infrastructure projects up to £30m and their flood defence and Environment Agency projects up to £20m each.
The person will be required to work either in Cumbria, Manchester, Lancashire, Warrington, Bolton, Sheffield or Wakefield.
Responsibilities:- Day-to-day management, planning and supervision of the works including responsibility for the direct and labour-only workforce and subcontractors.
- Meeting health and safety requirements and ensuring all people on site are safe and have been correctly briefed.
- Must come from a civil engineering main or subcontractor background.
- Must have experience in civil engineering, water, highways or flood defence or Environment Agency projects.
- Working for a tier one leading civil engineering contractor.
- Working on civil engineering, water, flood/sea/river defence projects up to £30m.
- SMTS or SSSTS desired but not essential.
- Must have CSCS Card.
