A leading UK contractor is seeking a Bid Writer to join their team permanently in Central London. They are involved in a number of exciting projects, some worth up to £100,000.00. Due to growth and expansion, they are expecting a turnover of up to half a billion pounds by 2020.

The Bid Writer role will be for someone who has a good understanding of tender processes as well as strong interpersonal skills. Effectively, the Bid Writer will manage bid submissions and proposals, and generally the whole tender process.

The ideal Bid Writer will have strong organisation and project management skills with a key eye for detail. They will also possess excellent communication skills and will demonstrate them in both written and verbal formats.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:
  • Put together and gather information in order to meet requirements for pre-qualification
  • Research information for use in proposals
  • Contribute and support the production of presentations for interviews
  • Build and maintain relationships with graphic designers
  • Report to the BDM on how progress is going and what needs to be done
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completely IT literate
  • Extreme knowledge and experience of the social housing market
  • High quality verbal and written communication skills
