Overview

Established Residential Developer who are an award-winning company that maintain strong objectives whilst delivering projects on time to budget whilst maintaining a great relationship with all clients and customers. They deliver a wide range of projects through refurbishment and new build. The company has been around for a number of years and has a great reputation within the industry. They have an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing a range of schemes.

Key tasks & Responsibilities

  • Organisation and preparation of detailed design drawings
  • Co-ordination with contractors on site
  • Develop project briefs and prepare and present design proposals
  • Produce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications
  • Carry out design-stage risk assessments
  • Liaison with building control authority, fire authority and other regulatory bodies
  • Develop design information to detailed status and maintenance of drawing information
  • Attendance at design coordination meetings and construction site meetings

Personal Specification & Requirements

  • Highly motivated with strong desire to grow within the business
  • Experience in working on Residential projects (traditional build houses and apartments)
  • Good problem solver and work with minimal instruction
  • Punctual, reliable and good practical skills
  • Degree qualified or Equivalent
  • 3 years minimum experience
  • Established track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
