Overview
The Companies Pinnacle Re Tec and KC Engineering Bearings specialise in the manufacture and repair of pumps, rotating equipment and white metal bearings. Manufacturing is predominantly made to order according to customer designs and specifications.
Job Summary
This vacancy is for an experienced Accounts Assistant to be based in our offices in Consett. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will cover purchase ledger, sales ledger and some payroll. Ideally qualified to, or working towards, level 3 AAT, we would also consider someone qualified by experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the Purchase Ledger β inputting purchase invoices, paying suppliers, reconciling statements
- Managing the Sales Ledger β inputting sales invoices, posting receipts, sending/emailing clients invoices
- Reconciling the bank accounts
- Entering journals
- Some Credit Control via telephone and email
- Managing petty cash transactions
- Other general admin when required
- Dealing with invoice finance
Person Specification
- Experience of ERP systems β EFACS would be an advantage
- Some knowledge of Payroll would be advantageous, although not essential
