As Pinnacle Pet Group continues to grow, we are seeking a Systems Specialist (Sage) to join our People Team on a fixed term basis for 6 months. This role is remote (UK based). This role sits within the People team and will focus on the Sage system used across PPG, PPUK, Viovet and Pet Protect.
Working with the data team, the role will ensure accurate data is stored within the system and ensure consistent approaches are applied across policies and practices in readiness for any potential new future system implementations. The role will also ensure Sage is fully utilised across the business as far as possible, balancing this with commerciality and potential future systems investment.

What you’ll get up to as our Systems Specialist (Sage):
- This role will take ownership of the Sage system within the People team, acting as the subject matter expert to ensure it is fully operational, compliant and used to its full potential.
- Working closely with People Administrators, Data and IT teams, you will ensure data is collected, maintained and governed consistently, while leading a full data cleanse in preparation for an upcoming HRIS RFP.
- You will optimise system configuration to reduce manual effort, support automation and digitalisation initiatives, and maintain workflows, batch processes and scheduled system updates.
- You’ll support the People team to use systems effectively, troubleshooting where required and enhancing the leader and colleague experience at every opportunity.
- Alongside system ownership, you will work with key stakeholders to map the People systems landscape, improve integrations and identify practical, commercially sound “quick wins”.
- You will manage key system suppliers, support new modules and tools as they are introduced, and contribute to both regular and ad-hoc reporting, ensuring all outputs meet data governance, regulatory and confidentiality standards.
