We’re looking for a curious and motivated Search Manager to play a crucial role in building and executing our SEO, AI Search and Social search strategy, driving visibility and growth across Google, Bing, social platforms and AI‑driven search experiences. You’ll have strong expertise in on‑page and technical SEO, GEO, AEO and community search, with the ability to turn insights into action. Working closely with our agency and internal teams, you’ll deliver multi‑platform search strategies that build authority, increase engagement and support our wider marketing and business goals.

Location: This is a hybrid working role, with a requirement to be based in our Borehamwood office one day per week.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing With Us:
- Improve existing content and develop new search‑focused content in line with user intent and customer needs with a focus on visibility, not just traffic.
- Identify and implement technical recommendations in collaboration with external SEO agency and web developers.
- Identify and execute LLM/GEO optimisations to ensure content adapts to new search landscapes.
- Shape our approach to AI overviews, optimising content for AI search, answer engines and zero‑click SERPs.
- Alongside our SEO Agency, execute a comprehensive strategy that aligns with SEO and AI best practices.
- Develop and execute a Community search strategy that encapsulates multiple channels including Reddit, Instagram and YouTube etc.
- Monitor and improve site performance, page experience, page speed to align with SEO and AI visibility goals.
- Continually analyse performance and use search insights to identify trends and inform content.
- Generate weekly reports on KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, AI visibility and page experience.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Proofread internally created and externally supplied content to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand voice and search guidelines.
- Keep updated on SEO, GEO, AI, LLMS, content marketing trends, social search, algorithm updates and emerging tools.
Our Wishlist Of Your Previous Experience:
- You have in‑depth working knowledge of on‑page and technical SEO, including structured data and schema, JavaScript SEO rendering, Core Web Vitals, crawls and E‑E‑A‑T.
- You can analyse and investigate SEO performance, identify issues and create actions.
- Core understandings of Generative Search, AI platforms and LLMs.
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and can confidently, and accurately, present search insights and recommendations across teams.
- You can write and edit online content and implement updates on content management systems.
- Proficient in SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, SiteImprove, Brightedge).
- Content Management Systems (e.g. Magnolia, Contentful, Wix, Sprout Social).
- Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
- Analytically minded with a love for everything SEO and want to explore where search is going, not where it’s been.
- Experience in managing different types of marketing agencies/teams (e.g. SEO, PR, Content and Development).
- Excellent writing, editorial, and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
